Two main technology for laboratory diamonds

There are two main techniques for laboratory diamonds to artificially create diamonds:

1 High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) diamonds, which mimic the conditions in which natural diamonds form deep in the earth, produce uniquely shaped lab-grown diamond crystals.

2. The chemical vapour deposition (CVD) method first breaks down a carbon-laden gas such as methane into carbon and hydrogen atoms, which are then deposited on a diamond seed to form square, flat diamond crystals.

For laboratory diamonds, rough stones are produced first, and the process is the same as that of natural diamonds. It is determined by precise instruments on how to cut the largest diamond.

The rough stones are polished by hand and turned into diamonds of different shapes, which are then graded by a diamond certification agency and issued with a certificates.
